One-Component, High-Performance, Highly Deformable Lightweight Cementitious Adhesive

This one-component, high-performance, highly-deformable, lightweight cementitious adhesive is designed for bonding ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles, including mosaics. Offering extended open time and very high yield, it’s easy to trowel, has excellent buttering capacity, and is ideal for thin porcelain tiles. With a very low emission of volatile organic compounds, it provides a sustainable solution for a range of tiling applications.

Uses:

Bonding all types and sizes of ceramic tiles (double-fired, single-fired, porcelain, klinker, terracotta, etc.) on both internal and external substrates.
Bonding stone tiles on stable, non-humid internal and external surfaces.
Installing thin porcelain tiles on floors and walls, including external façades.
Suitable for bonding mosaics on internal and external substrates, including swimming pools.
Specifically designed for large-format tiles laid on large surface areas without the need for double buttering.
Thanks to its high buttering capacity, it is particularly effective for laying thin porcelain tiles (using the double buttering technique), including applications with thermal insulation systems like the Mapetherm Tile System.

Examples of Application:

Bonding ceramic tiles (double-fired, single-fired, porcelain, ceramic and glass mosaics, klinker, etc.), stable stone, and thin porcelain tiles onto conventional substrates such as:
- Sand/cement screeds, self-levelling cementitious screeds, and anhydrite (with appropriate primer).
- Heated screeds.
- Cementitious render or lime-mortar render.
- Gypsum plaster (with appropriate primer).
- Plasterboard, precast panels, cement-fibre panels.
- Waterproofing membranes like Mapelastic, Mapelastic Smart, Mapelastic AquaDefense, and Mapegum WPS.
Installing ceramic and stone tiles over existing tiled floors (such as ceramic or marble).
Suitable for bonding to exterior-grade plywood, P5 grade chipboard, and stable wooden floors.
Laying ceramic and stone tiles on balconies, terraces, and patios exposed to direct sunlight and thermal gradients.
Bonding to precast concrete walls and concrete substrates.
