ARDEX X 7 R S1 - Rapid-Setting Flexible Tile Adhesive
ARDEX X 7 R S1 is a rapid-setting, cement-based tile adhesive with enhanced flexibility and fibre technology, ideal for internal and external wall and floor tiling. Suitable for ceramic, porcelain, and non-moisture-sensitive natural stone tiles, it allows grouting and trafficking after just 3 hours.

- S1 Deformability: Fibre-reinforced for improved strength and flexibility, accommodating limited substrate movement.
- Extended Open Time: 30 minutes, with optimal fixing within 20 minutes under UK conditions.
- Versatile Application: Bonds to concrete, screeds, plasterboard, and existing tiles; suitable for underfloor heating and swimming pools.
- Slump-Free Option: Adjustable water content for wall tiling and coving without slip.
- Low Environmental Impact: Contains low soluble Chromium VI (≤0.0002% when mixed).

- Coverage: 20 kg bag yields ~14.3 litres, covering ~4.7 m² at 3 mm thickness (1.4 kg/m²/mm).
- Working Time: ~30 minutes at 20°C.
- Adjustment Time: ~20 minutes at 20°C.

- Storage: 12 months in unopened, dry conditions.
Applications:
- Tiling in high-traffic areas, wet rooms, and external spaces.
- Fixing large-format tiles, mosaics, terrazzo, and brick slips.
- Installations with underfloor heating or limited vibration.
Application:
Apply with a notched trowel on clean, primed substrates. Use semi-pourable mix for floors or slump-free mix for walls. Ensure solid bed fixing for floors and external areas by pressing tiles with a twisting action. For large tiles, butter the tile backs. Protect from frost and rain for 24 hours. Use ARDEX grouts for joints.
