Mapei Mapeguard UM 35
Waterproofing, uncoupling and anti-fracture membrane for cracked/damp or not-fully-cured substrates before installing ceramic and stone tiles (internal & external).
Key benefits
- Waterproof membrane to help protect substrates from water infiltration
- Uncoupling layeruto help reduce stress transfer from the substrate to the tiled finish
- Anti-fracture performance to help manage cracks in the substrate
- Vapour compensation channels to allow moisture in underlying layers to release
- Suitable for balconies/terraces, bathrooms, and overlaying existing flooring
- Semitransparent for easier checks of adhesive coverage and cutting around penetrations
- Helps distribute heat more evenly over heated floors
Where it works best
- Balconies & terraces (waterproofing + uncoupling + vapour compensation)
- Bathrooms and wet areas (use correct joint/edge sealing method for full waterproofing)
- Renovations and overlays onto existing floors (ceramic/resin/wood — where suitable)
- Heated floors (helps even heat distribution)
Important notes
- Do not use over structural joints or where movement is expected.
- Membrane must be covered with ceramic/stone flooring.
- Follow the recommended system components for sealing seams/edges in wet or external areas.

Delivery
We only deliver to UK Mainland and Highlands areas only. We do not deliver products to the Islands, Ireland, or Northern Ireland.

Minimum order value £450 inc VAT qualify for free shipping (excluding Large slabs).
Order Cut-Off Time
Orders placed before 12:00pm will be delivered by the next working day (subject to stock availability). Next working days exclude weekends and holidays.

We are unable to offer next-day service to the following postcode regions in Scotland: AB, IV, KW, PA.

- DPD: Next working day - for under 50kg parcels.
- Next Working Day: From £6.50 + VAT
- Economy Service: 2-3 Working Days (Only for order weight over 50kg)
Orders Over 50kg (Pallet Service)
Large orders over 50kg will be delivered on a pallet (small, half, or full pallet). All pallet deliveries will be made via curbside delivery only.
